I never planned to run for elected office. I’m not a politician, and I’ve never been active in partisan politics. But after watching problems in our city fester and get worse year after year while our local leaders sit on the sidelines, I finally said, enough. Someone has to step up and fight for change.

This is a nonpartisan election, and regardless of your political affiliation, I intend to work hard to earn your trust and your vote.

I am, however, a proud Democrat who believes deeply in democratic values. I believe government has a responsibility to stand up for people who need it most—to level the playing field for those facing obstacles, to confront inequities, and to give a voice to those who too often go unheard.

I believe in a proactive government—one that recognizes problems, confronts them, and doesn’t shy away from a fight.

That means creating more economic opportunity while addressing the growing tax burden on homeowners and renters. It means making smart decisions about development, protecting the character of our neighborhoods, and building a future that works for all of Asbury Park—not just a select few.

We can do better. We can be more responsive. We can demand more from our local government.

I don’t have all the answers. But I can promise you this: I will fight hard for Asbury Park.

I’m running because I love this community. I believe in its people, its potential, and its future. And I believe we can try harder, work smarter, and do better than we have.

Let’s stop accepting the status quo. Let’s plan for the future we want—and together, let’s make it happen.

We are one Asbury Park.
